Stands at “Newson’s Corner”, between Church Road and New Road. Built by John Henry Newson, who ran a coal merchant business at the station.

Billy Farrow’s dad worked there full-time (i.e. 7 days a week) looking after the stock and poultry, and doing the gardening.

Eric and Una Peachey lived here when they were married in 1957.
